Government agencies using SAP National Security Services can now select Amazon Web Services' GovCloud as a part of NS2’s Secure HANA Cloud offering, making it easier for agency customers to securely transition workloads to the cloud. The offering aims to provide a single source to address SAP HANA, onboarding and cloud managed services on the AWS GovCloud environment, company officials said.
SAP NS2 is the independent U.S.-based arm of SAP SE that delivers enterprise technology solutions to support the mission of national security.
Making the SAP N2S HANA platform-as-a-service offering available on GovCloud gives agencies access to a secure, federally compliant cloud infrastructure with comprehensive services and support. The SAP-AWS partnership also includes SAP tenured cloud experts assisting with onboarding and managed-services requirements for HANA workloads running on AWS GovCloud.
“We are pleased to be working with SAP NS2 on the Secure HANA Cloud powered by AWS GovCloud (US),” said David Levy, vice president of US government at Amazon Web Services, Inc. “We continue to see our public sector customers move more critical workloads and applications to the cloud, and this collaboration is one way in which we can further support them, delivering on the tools and services they’ve requested.”
